3D Character

My Character
When I first downloaded the character the idle animation got messed up and just makes him T pose but honestly its a lot more funny so i decided to keep it that way however all the other animations are working so far
Principles of animation
When it come to the principles of animation the 2 i found the most important are Response and Feel.
The book talks about how with response you need to balance how well and fast the action responds to the player while not sacrificing the weight of that action to make it as responsive as possible. Feel on the other hand is all about interactivity "the single biggest element that separates video game animation from traditional linear animation is interactivity" Cooper pg.(41). This interactivity is something that you have to focus much more on in a 3D world as there is a new dimension that all your animations need to interact with and work in
3D vs 2D
I found that in a 3D world it easier for a player to reference other object in the world and how they react compared to you action than it is for them to do the same thing in a 2D world. This make it harder for animators to make every animation feel as real as possible because they always have to compare all the object in the frames while in a 3D world.
